Paramount Theatre tickets & upcoming events

If you’ve ever been to Oakland, you’ve probably heard of the Paramount Theatre, it’s a true local icon with a rich history and a vibe all its own. This place isn’t just about catching a show; it’s about experiencing something special. The architecture alone is a sight to behold, think ornate plasterwork, shimmering chandeliers, and a grand marquee that screams classic Hollywood. It’s hosted everything from legendary concerts by artists like Prince and Santana to film premieres and comedy nights. The seating is pretty versatile too. If you’re after comfort, the Back Orchestra seats are great for kicking back and soaking in the show. But for a more lively, energetic feel, the front-tier seats really put you in the thick of things. And if you’re tech-savvy, the online ticketing system makes grabbing your spot a breeze. Plus, getting there is a cinch, just hop off at 20th and Broadway or, if you’re feeling adventurous, take the water taxi from the waterfront. Honestly, whether you’re there for a concert, a comedy show, or just to admire the stunning design, the Paramount Theatre never fails to deliver a memorable night. Trust me, it’s one of those venues that sticks with you long after the curtains close.
